Mentor PAYS Scholars This Summer
The Â鶹ӰÊÓ Academy for Youth Success (PAYS) is a college access program for high school students with a 4-week academically intensive, residential component during the summer. Students come from our surrounding communities and from populations traditionally underrepresented in college.
Every summer, PAYS hires college students to serve as Teaching Assistants (TA), Community Advisors (CA), or Tutors (Math or Writing) to our PAYS Scholars. PAYS Staff work to provide the supervision, mentorship, advising, and community activities needed to provide a brave, engaged and collaborative environment conducive to an academically rigorous and enriching pre-college experience. Current Â鶹ӰÊÓ students and/or a PAYS Alum with relevant experience and interest in working with high school students may apply for the TA, CA, and/or Tutor (Math or Writing) positions. Please read the position descriptions below and after deciding which position(s) you are interested in, complete the online application.
