- Audio-visual support requests should be made as far in advance as possible directly with Media and Classroom Services by emailing servicedesk@pomona.edu
- Student-sponsored events should be directed to AV47 in the campus center for support.
- Support for off-campus College-related events is at the discretion of the AVP, IT Finance and Operations.
- The organizing entity must make all requests for media support.
Service Request Deadlines
ITS will make every attempt to provide service based on the guidelines below.
- 3 business day notice is requested for weekday events that start and conclude between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
- 10 business day notice is requested for weekday events that start after 5:00 pm and weekend events (Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays).
- 15 business day notice is requested for large, full-day, multi-venue, and/or multi-day conferences or symposiums.
Billing
- Services performed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday will not incur a labor charge.
- Services performed after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and on weekends and holidays will incur a charge of $70 per hour per technician with a minimum of 2 hours.
- Services performed for non-Â鶹ӰÊÓ entities will be charged $70 per technician for labor with a four-hour minimum.
- Some service requests may incur equipment rental charges, which will be charged to the requesting entity.
Depending on the type, size, and staffing availability, we may recommend hiring an outside contractor. Please contact Media and Classroom Services for details (servicedesk@pomona.edu).
Pomona College after-hours and weekend support requests that are not designated as an institutional event will be charged$70 per hour of labor with a four-hour minimum.
