Sarah Grayzel-Ward ’19 majored in psychological sciences and now works as a social worker with the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Sophia Sun, a linguistics and cognitive science major, works as a senior product manager at Kajabi.

Sydney Rupe ’15 is a trial attorney in Houston, Texas, whose primary practice consists of commercial litigation and disputes. She has also had the chance to work on some rewarding pro bono cases.

Micayla George, a molecular biology major at Pomona, works as a research associate at NanoCellect Biomedical, a biotech start-up in San Diego.

Emma Sheridan ’21 is a product manager at Microsoft building digital experiences for commercial customers to manage their Microsoft 365 subscriptions through the admin center. 

David Berkinsky ‘19 is working on his Ph.D. in physical chemistry at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the lab of Moungi Bawendi, the winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. 

Ayanna Powell ’14 reflects on her journey from Pomona to becoming a management analyst for the City of Los Angeles. 

As a transfer student to Pomona, Jordan Petersen majored in neuroscience and is now a third-year medical student at the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine.

A molecular biology major at Pomona, Katiannah Moise ’18 is currently a fourth-year doctoral candidate studying vascular biology at Northwestern University.

After majoring in history at Pomona and earning her Master of Divinity at Harvard, Diana Ortiz Giron ’14 now works as director for student diversity and belonging at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
