The Housekeeping department performs routine custodial operations for the campus. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining over 1.2 million square feet of academic and dormitory building space. Housekeepers are asked to be alert to potential maintenance issues, provide emergency clean-up, and support the College's Emergency Operation Plan.
The following are examples of housekeeping calls:
- Request for extra cleaning (e.g. offices, public areas, restrooms)
- Extra trash pick-up
- Building door opening
- Request for dorm bathroom cleaning
- Student dorm requests (e.g. mattress, furniture)
- Request for event furniture set-up and tear-down
