For the past 30 years, the AARC has been dedicated to highlighting and uplifting the narratives of members of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community, both on and off the Claremont Colleges' campuses.
Every year, after careful consideration and open conversation, interns choose what concepts and ideas to focus and form committees on. While the focus and priorities of interns may vary throughout the years, one thing remains the same: our commitment to our community.
To our past, present, and future interns: thank you for dedicating your time and energy towards growing this space. The outcomes from the work we have done in advocating for ourselves and our community will be remembered. Even after we graduate and physically leave the space of the AARC behind, always remember that we are a part of a family and lineage that has advocated for us for more than 30 years, and that we will never be alone.
