Professors Fernando Lozano and Emiliano Huet-Vaughn will research on two issues key to Southern California's economy: minimum wage increases and entrepreneurship.

The Smart Start Career Fellows Program provides career development opportunities for Pomona sophomores who identify as first-generation and/or low-income. A three-day career trek in January gives them an inside look at a variety of workplaces.
