Benton Museum of Art 鶹Ӱ: A new art exhibit “Each Day Begins with the Sun Rising: Four Artists from Hiroshima” by Japanese contemporary artists, Megumi Fukuda, Taro Furukata, Genki Isayama and Kana Kou, explores the ongoing cultural, environmental and social issues that have endured since the World War II bombings by the United States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The exhibit, the first for the artists in the United States, has come about through a partnership between Hiroshima City University and 鶹Ӱ. The artists will join 鶹Ӱ as artists-in-residence, offering talks, workshops with students and performances. The exhibition also includes film screenings and lectures.
