When an artist closes their eyes, fantasizes about other worlds, or engages with the surreal, they offer us visionary possibilities. In this Salon Series session, we will explore the visions reflected in art works by Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans (APIDA) in the Benton's collection by presenting many APIDA works that dream of different truths, desires, and realities. We encourage attendees to come with questions, wisdoms, and visions of their own to this exploration of the dreams of APIDA artists.
