Join 5C Prison Abolition Group and Art After Hours at the Â鶹ӰÊÓ Museum of Art as we invite Sheila Pinkel, emeritus professor of art at Â鶹ӰÊÓ to speak about the artwork and life of David Earl Williams, a.k.a. Romeo.
Williams, who has been in prison for most of his life and currently on death row in California, continues to make art about family, injustice, and his life experiences. Professor Pinkel will be speaking about his artwork and resistance to an inherently unjust system of incarceration and violence.
