In conjunction with “Muse: Mickalene Thomas Photographs” and “tête-à-tête” and “Establishing Justice,” 鶹Ӱ Museum of Art welcomes New York art activist Alexandra Bell for a presentation of her art practice. Reception to follow during Art After Hours in the Museum courtyard.

Throughout the day, Bell activates three artworks across the Claremont Consortium: “Charlottesville and A Teenager with Promise and Olympic Threat.” It will be the west coast unveiling of these images.
Bell investigates the language used by The New York Times to codify otherness, violence and justice in the United States.
