    Expertise

DesCombes has extensive experience through her over 40 years working in large and small firms across industries as broad as film and television, medical and industrial equipment.

    Research Interests

    • Design methods for producing reliable real-time multi-tasking software. These design methods result in software that has both well-defined and well-controlled variability in the data latency. Properly controlling these data latency characteristics results in reduced data staleness and improves system stability.
    • Low-noise analog circuit design for use in professional audio and video products. The signal bandwidth ranges from DC (O Hz) to 30 MHz.
