Professor Ned Blackhawk, the Howard R. Lamar Professor of History at Yale University, is an internationally known scholar of Native American history. For more than two decades, his work as a writer, teacher, and activist has emphasized the importance of centering Native Nations in the struggles over Native land, children, and sovereignty.
